pART of Pontypridd 2022
We bring you the pART of Pontypridd Art Trail. . .the annual Art Trail taking place across the town centre of Pontypridd and Ynysangharad Park. . .we are delighted to be exhibiting a wealth of creative work. . .by our latest graduates from the BA (Hons) Creative and Therapeutic Arts course at the University of South Wales, Treforest Campus.

As part of my grad show, I will be participating in this years pART of Pontypridd Art Trail. This will be held on the 20th - 22nd May 2022
For my contribution to the art trail, I have created a children's book and corresponding window display, that is situated in Storyville Books.
Window Display
The window display centres around the book ‘Mwg’s Little Changes for a Greener Ponty’, created in collaboration with Young Friends of the Earth. This was influenced by the groups ideas of ways we can be more eco-friendly, specific to Pontypridd, alongside the characters they felt should voice this message. The book follows the main character Mwg’s, (pronounced Moog, meaning smoke in Welsh), journey around Ponty and her interactions with friends to show the little changes we can make to promote a more sustainable future. To keep with this theme, the display is all made from used cardboard that has been sourced from local independent businesses.
